About the course 
The 3-Day Beginner Bridal & Soft Glam Makeup Academy is a premium, small-group training experience designed to take you from little or no experience to a confident, client‑ready makeup artist. 
 
Across four structured training days, you’ll learn how to design and execute modern, sellable looks for real clients: natural makeup, bridal soft glam, glam/party looks and a dedicated portfolio day to create content that actually helps you get booked. 
 
Each morning focuses on in‑depth demonstrations, theory and product knowledge; each afternoon is guided hands‑on practice so you can build muscle memory and confidence in a supportive academy environment. By the end of the course, you’ll understand how to prep different skin types, build long‑lasting base makeup, work with contour, eyes, lashes and lips, and create looks that photograph beautifully for social media and bridal portfolios. 
 
This academy is intentionally beginner‑friendly — you don’t need any prior professional experience - but it’s delivered at a professional standard that supports charging for your services once you’ve completed the course and practised your new skills.

You’ll leave the academy with a clear understanding of how to create modern bridal and soft glam looks, a set of finished portfolio images from the studio, and the confidence to begin taking on paying clients or add makeup artistry into your existing beauty business. 
 
Day 1 – Natural Makeup, Fundamentals & Mature Skin 
Day 1 sets your foundations. 
 
You’ll start with skin prep, hygiene and understanding different skin types, then move into how to choose and apply base products that suit real clients. You’ll learn colour correction, undertones, coverage, and how to create fresh, natural makeup that still looks good in photos. 
 
We’ll pay special attention to mature skin — texture, fine lines and product placement — so you feel confident working on brides, mums of the bride and older clients. The afternoon is hands‑on practice where you recreate a full natural look under guidance, building confidence in your basic technique. 
 
Day 2 – Bridal Soft Glam 
Day 2 is all about bridal. 
 
We go deeper into soft glam bridal looks: how to translate a bride’s inspiration photos into a realistic face plan, how to balance glow with longevity, and how to make the makeup last all day. 
 
You’ll learn soft glam eye design, skin that looks luminous but still holds up, blush and highlight placement, and long‑wear product choices. In the afternoon, you’ll complete a full bridal soft glam look with feedback and tweaks, ready for portfolio‑style photos in the academy studio. 
 
Day 3 – Glam & Party Looks 
Day 3 introduces more drama and detail. 
 
We focus on cream contour, more defined sculpting, party‑ready eye looks, strip lash application, gel liner control, shimmer and pigments, and glitter used in a way that still feels polished and flattering. 
 
You’ll explore how to take a look from “pretty” to “wow” while keeping it wearable for different face shapes and ages. The afternoon is dedicated to practising a full glam or party look, so you can offer hen party, evening event and occasion makeup with confidence.
